Short answer: Absolutely!

Long answer: This set is a game changer for LEGO Super Mario fans, offering a unique and engaging experience that combines the magic of LEGO building with the fun of interactive gameplay.

Let's break down why:

Unleash the Power of Interactive Luigi:

This set features an interactive Luigi figure that comes to life, responding to your commands and the environment around him. With his light-up eyes and moving body, Luigi is the ultimate companion for any LEGO Super Mario adventure.

The Latest Buzz:

This set has been making waves in the LEGO world, earning a phenomenal 4.9-star rating on Amazon. People are seriously loving the interactive features and the ability to expand their LEGO Super Mario worlds!

Real Customer Reviews:

Don't take our word for it! Let's hear what other LEGO Super Mario enthusiasts have to say:

  • "T. Young": “I am an adult who collects toys and Lego sets. I also love video games, so I was excited to see this Super Mario set. At first, I thought it would be little minifigures, but then I watched the product video and looked through the pictures and I wasn't sure how I would feel about this set. I decided to take a chance anyway. I'm glad I did. I wasn't convinced that I would like this because it's different from other sets. Luigi is somewhat interactive. He will require 2 AAA batteries and a small Phillips head screwdriver to access the battery panel. I also downloaded the Lego Super Mario app because it said in the instructions that Luigi would need to download an update. This is all very easy to do and the instructions both in the book and on the app explain everything. Luigi does have a light that will be on underneath him, and his eyes and a small window on his stomach will show different things. The assembly of the rest of the set was easy, but it did take me a little longer because I was testing Luigi out in the middle of assembly. Luigi responds to these little barcode kind of blocks that are on different things like the Boo ghost, the fruit in the tree, etc. He also responds to certain colored blocks like blue and purple. I noticed by accident that when I put him on a light blue page of the instruction booklet while he was still on, he reacted to the light blue as if it was ice and there was a little animation that happened in the window on his stomach. He also reacts when you make him jump or when you move his feet as if he is walking one foot at a time. I accidentally dropped him and he makes several different noises and movements with his eyes. I was literally entertained by Luigi and I wanted to find out all the things that he could do. After finishing the assembly of the other parts, I found out that the green pipe is the starting point and the Bowser flag is the end point. So you have to do things in between to try to get Luigi to earn points. It's really cute and it allows for a lot of discovery to try to see what you can get him to or what he can interact with.I think kids would love this - especially those who are probably 7-8 and older. Adults will love this too, just like I did. I am curious now if Luigi can interact with the things in the other two sets with Mario and Peach too.......so I guess those are next on my list to pick up.Definitely worth the money for this set! I highly recommend it if you are a Super Mario fan!”

  • "Default Customer Profile": “Just got done doing a long review for the Mario figure set so I'm going to TLDR the interactive experience of the special figure and then use this review to talk about the expansion experience of combining two kits from the LEGO Super Mario lineup. Basically, it's like this -> you have an electronic figure (Mario/Luigi/Peach) that has a sensor on the bottom -> the sensor reads special tiles -> the tiles are built into platforms where some manner of interaction is occurring (fighting a Goomba, using a power-up) -> you move the along these platforms and it's sensor recognizes these interactions and the figure reacts to them in addition to sending data to a connected app. Now you can do all of this with the figure and pieces contained in this kit. But expansion is very much baked into the experience and I can tell you from combining my Mario and Luigi sets that the replay value is real. And it's not only expandable but it's customizable, I mean it's Lego after all. As soon as I got the Luigi set build up per the instructions I was making changes and adding in components from the Mario set to make a full connected "level" - and it worked! The figures recognized all the tiles and the app was tracking everything I did and gave me a score at the end. With more sets comes more tiles and platforms, baddies and power-ups, and your figure is going to know how to handle all of them. I say that because the first thing my Mario figure did when I paired with the app was download an update and I assume this is how Lego intends to keep the figures compatible as they grow the lineup. The only thing I can critique about expansion is that if you want to maintain the connected pathing presentation then you'll probably end up needing some additional plate. But I'm guessing if you're into Legos enough to get to this point you can probably come up with some spares; its 2 stud wide plate at whatever length you desire. And the only thing I questioned about expansion and can't really answer till I get more sets is: Can I chain them indefinitely and still have time to run it? Because video game Mario had a 60-second clock and Lego Mario has a 60-second timer. There are time boosts as rewards but I'm wondering just how big I can make this.”
